William “Bill” Wayne Kerr; March 23, 2013

William “Bill” Wayne Kerr, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, March 23.

Mr. Kerr was a veteran of the US Army, Navy and Air Force and retired from the Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He was involved in community activities such as Boy Scouts and youth athletics, and enjoyed traveling and camping.

Survivors include wife, Odell Holladay Kerr; children, Philip Lacrone (Susan) of Kansas, Wayne Kerr, Jr. of Huntsville, Karen Hardy (Mark) of Colorado, Ken Kerr (Martha) of Huntsville; and Lisa Kerr Zapalac of Huntsville; grandchildren, Nikki Kerr, Ryan Hardy, Lynne Kerr, David Hardy, Heather Kerr, Micah Lacrone, Tiffany Kerr, Tori Zapalac, Zachary Zapalac, Jenna Hardy, Loren Hardy and Allen Zapalac.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 at the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Huntsville Memory Gardens. (www.laughlinservice.com)
