Thomas E. Dilworth, Jr.; April 22, 2013

Thomas E. Dilworth, Jr., 83, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, April 22.

A native of Huntsville, Mr. Dilworth received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his Master’s Degree from UAH. He was a US Army Korean War veteran. He retired after 25 years from Redstone Arsenal Army Missile Command. He was an avid tennis player and a fan of the University of Alabama.

Mr. Dilworth was preceded in death by his wife, Itasca H. Dilworth.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa A. Stephens of Batavia Ill., and Eleanor M. Dilworth of Bloomingdale, Ill.; sons, Al Gray of Fayetteville, Tenn. and Ron Gray of Tuscumbia; brothers, Jim Dilworth of Auburn and Bob Dilworth of Atlanta, Ga.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. There was a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or USTA Serves, Inc. (foundation@usta.com)
