MADISON — Madison Youth Football and Cheer, a non-profit, all volunteer and youth recreational football and cheer league, announced its registration dates for 2013.

The last two remaining days to register are on June 13 and June 27 from 4:30 p.m.  to 8 p.m. at the Dublin Park Recreational Center.

This year’s football teams include the Tiny Mites (ages 7 and under), Mighty Mites (ages 9 and under), Junior Pee Wee (ages 10 and under) and Pee Wee (ages 11 and under).

Registration is available online as well at www.madisonyfc.org. Madison Youth Football and Cheer is headed up by Mike Murrah and is sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods.

“The sole purpose of Madison YFC is to provide the local community with organized, adult-supervised, healthy football and cheerleading programs consistent with North Alabama American Youth Football, Inc. (NAAYF) and American Youth Football rules,” the organization’s mission statement read. “In doing so, this organization will constantly promote the ideas of fellowship, community spirit, good sportsmanship and fair play while ensuring that proper training, instruction, safety and equipment are furnished to the participants.”
