Police make arrest in neighborhood burglaries

MADISON — The Madison Police department is waiting for Tennessee to extradite a man connected to a series of recent break-ins.

Xavier Freeman, 25, of Madison was arrested and detained two hours away in Murfreesboro, Tenn on May 20. Police say Freeman allegedly broke into homes in the Brass Oaks and Sagefield neighborhoods.

Warrants for Burglary Third Degree and Theft of Property First Degree were issued for Freeman and his bond is currently set at $30,000. More charges are pending and are expected to be filed when Freeman is extradited.
