Harvey Cornelius, July 10, 2013

Harvey Cornelius, 97, passed away Wednesday July 10, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Cornelius. He is survived by 3 daughters; Gloria King of Leander, TX, Susan Fulda (Paul) of Harvest, AL, and Cynthia Harwell (Ron) of Trinity, AL; 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Harvey retired from NASA after several years of employment there. He loved old cars, especially Cadillacs. He also liked to sing, garden, and talk about trains. He was a charter member and one of the founders of Highlands Methodist Church where he attended for a number of years. He was fiercely independent and will be missed and loved by many!

Visitation with the family was held at Valhalla on Sunday, July 14, 2013 with a chapel service and entombment immediately after at Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel of Love.
