“The festival will showcase some of the Tennessee Valley’s best talent,” entertainment co-chairman Rhonda Fox said. Other co-chairs are Lynne Chadwick, Dawn Drewnowski and Wyndie Meyer.

“The Madison Street Festival grows larger every year. We moved the Verizon Stage to make room for our ever-growing vendors, artists and demonstrations. I think everyone will enjoy our new location,” Fox said.

At 9 a.m. at the BB&T Bank Gazebo Stage, James Clemens High School Band will play during opening ceremonies. The U.S. Army Materiel Command Band is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Stand Up Chuck will play their contemporary and classic rock charts at 11 a.m., followed by Huntsville singer/songwriter Emma Klein at noon. At 1 p.m., the Zooks will deliver soulful 1960s/1970s sounds.

Bonner Black will share her style of country at 2 p.m. The American Lane Band and The “oh ok, sorry” Band will perform at 3 and 4 p.m., respectively.

The Verizon Church Street Stage (at the corner with Maple Street) will see high-energy Dance Trance moves at 9 a.m. Dorothy Cole will strut in her Tina Turner Revue at 10 a.m. Local legends The Purple Ravens will rock out at 11 a.m.

At noon, the Beasley Brothers will entertain at the Verizon Stage, followed by Madison country artist Cristina Lynn at 1 p.m. Splitting Atoms Band will show their talent at 2 p.m. Jazz will conclude the lineup with bands from Discovery middle and Bob Jones high schools at 3 and 4 p.m.

The chairpersons “are always on the lookout for new entertainers. Don’t be afraid to contact us at madisonstreetfestival.org. We’re looking for a good variety of sounds,” Fox said.

Personally, Fox is looking forward to hearing Emma Klein and Bonner Black. “They’re two entertainers I don’t want to miss. They’re both wonderful singers and will have a bright future in the entertainment industry for years.”
