Ms. Magdalena Thiele November 11, 1919 – September 21, 2013

Magdalena Thiele, age 93, died peacefully September 21, 2013 with her family by her side.
She was born in Germany and moved to the United States with her family in 1965.

Magdalena was preceded in death by her husband Wilhelm Thiele, parents Friedrich, Magdalena and Step-mother Maria Mulzer, and brother Adolf Mulzer.

She is survived by her brother Horst Mulzer, son Wilhelm (Jan) Thiele, daughters Irmgard (David) Booker & Sonja (Michael) Plawchan, and grandchildren David Booker, Diane Henry, Patty Winkles, Jennifer Shepardson, Matthew Hall, Kurt Meadows, Christina Hughes, William Thiele, Eric Hughes, and Katie Hayes. She had 13 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Magdalena loved her family and pets dearly. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed singing German songs at family gatherings and holidays. She will be remembered and missed dearly by all that loved her.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Gentiva Hospice, 303 Williams Ave # 116, Huntsville, AL 35801.

Graveside services were held on Monday September 23, 2013 at Valhalla Funeral Home.
