The chamber’s new leaders were installed at the organization’s annual meeting on Sept. 26 at the Best Western-Plus in Madison.

Chamber officers are president Steven Levy, SEL & Associates; vice president Amanda Weaver, ServisFirst Bank; secretary Jim Pride, Good Samaritan Hospice of Madison; and treasurer Joe Knoch, Air Essentials Inc.

MCC directors-at-large are Beth B. Martin, Progress Bank; Lori King-Taylor, Eagle Collision Center/Trinity Performance Solutions; Mary Lynne Wright, Madison Hospital; Andrew ‘Drew’ Freeman, Hogan Family YMCA; Cindy Sensenberger, Main Street Cafe; Frank Williams, Landers McLarty Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram-Subaru-Fiat; David Barrett, Barrett Insurance Associates; and Tim Holcombe, Councilman District 1.

“The MCC Board is an excellent representation of our membership, ranging from small business owners to captains of industry,” MCC Executive Director Susie Masotti said.

Each membership with the chamber qualifies as one vote for officers and board members.

“Each board member assists the chamber by bringing their knowledge and experience to all of us collectively. By combining this varied wealth of business acumen and knowledge, the chamber is better able to serve our members,” Masotti said.

“I’m excited to welcome David Barrett and Frank Williams to the board,” she said. “As strong supporters of the Madison Chamber of Commerce over the past several years, David and Frank bring a passion for business and our community.”

“It’s awfully easy to say you support an organization. But, to become a board member (and in David’s case a dual role with the chamber as an ambassador), committing your time is showing the MCC staff and your fellow chamber members that you care about our success,” Masotti said.

The board meets monthly at Madison Hospital.
