Paul Edward Powell, Jr., 59, of Madison passed away at his residence. Paul was a native of Belleville, IL and a resident of Madison County for over 15 years. He was employed with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years: Janice Marie Powell; one son: Gus Powell and wife: Ayu of Tuson, AZ; two stepdaughters: Lisa Anne Varner and husband: Chuck and Tanya Marie Fantasia and one grandson: Brady Thomas Fantasia.

Visitation was held Monday December 2, 2013 at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service Berryhill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Harrell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or to The American Diabetes Association.
