Ivory arrested for passing counterfeit money

MADISON – Detectives with the Madison Police Department arrested Blake Obrian Ivory, 21, of Huntsville for theft and possession of counterfeit bills on Dec. 17.

Obrian is accused of buying items with counterfeit currency from two individuals in Madison. The merchandise was listed on craigslist. The U.S. Secret Service is assisting in the case and more charges may be pending.

Obrian was charged with two counts of theft of property, second degree and two counts of possession of a forged instrument, first degree. He was taken to the Madison County Jail on $15,000 bond.
