MADISON – Lines and cues are memorized as Bob Jones Patriot Players prepare to reprise “The Last Illusion,” which will represent Alabama at the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC).

The cast and crew will present the play on Feb. 21-22 at 7 p.m. in Zompa Auditorium at Bob Jones High School.

These shows will help in paying expenses of approximately $40,000 for students to attend SETC at the Mobile Civic Center on March 7. Held March 5-9, SETC includes college scholarship auditions and festivals for professional, community, high school and youth theatre.

“The Last Illusion” depicts Harry Houdini’s life of magic.

Bob Jones earned “Best Play” honors with “The Last Illusion” at the 2013 Alabama Conference of Theatre and advanced to represent Alabama among SETC’s 10 states.

B. Dwayne Craft and Mary Davis are drama instructors at Bob Jones. To make donations, call Craft at 256-679-7794 or Davis at 256-679-6687.
