Redstone women’s club crowns Mardi Gras king, queen

REDSTONE ARSENAL – Redstone Arsenal Community Women’s Club honored two patriotic figures as king and queen at its Mardi Gras and Wine Tasting at The Summit on Feb. 21.

Retired Lt. Col. Royal Lewis and his wife Gloria Lewis were crowned king and queen. He is a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a driver for General George S. Patton.

Max Bennett served as emcee.

Arsenal Community Women’s Club is a 501(c) 4 private, non-profit organization, not affiliated with Redstone Arsenal or the U.S. Army.
