MADISON – Madison Community Band will hold a car wash on June 21 at Kroger, 7090 U.S. 72 W.

Band members will wash cars from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This Kroger store is located at the intersection of U.S. 72 and Jeff Road.

“The car wash will be primarily run by the students in the band, but all members will play a part in the car wash,” student representative Sara Ann Schaffer said. “There is no set price per vehicle. We will ask for people to pay what they think the job is worth.”

The 65 members in Madison Community Band range in age from middle school students to retirees. The band’s summer concert schedule includes a performance at Bridge Street Town Centre on June 7 at 6 p.m. and the Madison Gazebo on July 10 at 6:30 p.m.
