Ruby J. Nichols April 23, 1934 – May 20, 2014

Ruby J Nichols a lifelong resident of Madison passed away Tuesday, May 20th at her home with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. After her retirement from Cheesbrough Ponds, she traveled extensively with her husband and they especially enjoyed the many cruises they shared together.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Joe Nichols (retiree of Dunlop);sons, Danny (Dolores) Nichols of Madison and Stanley (Shirlene) Nichols of Moulton; daughters, Cyndi (Keith) Bedsole of Madison and Karen (Randall) Miller of Gurley; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Bedsole, Amber Pierce, and Brent (Allison) Nichols of Madison, Melissa Bedsole of Huntsville, Joseph (Kathleen) Miller and Heather (Kipp) Richerzhagen of Gurley, and Leslie and Zach Nichols of Moulton; six great-grandchildren, Soji and Logan Bedsole, Paxton and Hensley Richerzhagen, Kayla Miller, and Dylan Pierce and one due to arrive in December; and five sisters.

Memorial Services were held Friday, May 23rd, at 1:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
