Sci-Quest offers Parents’ Night Out this Saturday

HUNTSVILLE – Parents can take a needed break when Sci-Quest Hands-on Science Center conducts Parents’ Night Out on June 14.

Parents’ Night Out is open to children who are four to 12 years old. Hours will be 6 to 10 p.m., with drop-off starting at 5:30 p.m. at 1435 Paramount Drive in Huntsville.

“Children will enjoy a pizza dinner, science activities, a movie and play time on the exhibit floor in a secure environment,” development and marketing director Jennifer Deermer said. “On June 14, children will learn about the history of rockets and make their own rocket to take home.”

Cost is $23 for the first child and $18 for each additional child. Sci-Quest members receive a 10-percent discount.
