MADISON – RUFF (Ready yoUrself For the Future) will host its second annual RUFF Trunk or Treat on Oct. 19.

The fun event is scheduled for 2 to 5 p.m. at Discovery Middle School, 1304 Hughes Road. Trunk or Treat is free to the community. Students can ‘trunk’ or treat from car to car with trunks filled with candy and Halloween goodies.

Trunk or Treat will offer additional attractions, like inflatable structures for children to jump and play in, concessions and carnival-style games.

RUFF engenders leadership and lends support to boys with character-building activities and help from positive male role models. After organizing at Heritage Elementary School, RUFF groups have expanded across town.

RUFF is accepting Trunk or Treat vendors, sponsors and individuals to volunteer their car trunks. For more information, call RUFF founder Anthony Graham at 256-652-1790 or email to agrahamruff@gmail.com.
