Mildred Kern Rider October 23, 1930 – October 25, 2014

Mildred Kern Rider, 84, of Madison passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at a local nursing facility. Mildred was a native of Strawberry Plains, TN and a resident of Madison County for over 6 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister: Louise Godwin. Survivors include her daughter: Cynthia Jo Walker and husband: William I. Revelez; three sisters: Fran Gutierrez, Billie Sue Presti and Jane Bataglia; one brother: Ronald Watkins; two grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; a special cousin: Gary Watkins and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family received friends Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial Chapel service at 5:00 p.m. with Chaplain David Currie officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
