HUNTSVILLE – For a family-friendly way to ring in the new year, Sci-Quest Hands-on Science Center will host “New Year’s Eve at Noon” on Dec. 31.

“Children can join in the festivities and enjoy a balloon drop and apple juice toast before bedtime,” development and marketing director Jennifer Deermer said.

As the countdown to ‘noon’ begins, children can engage in hands-on activity stations set up throughout the science center for the entire family. “Visitors can look forward to learning the science behind fireworks, discovering how time works, and, of course, making New Year’s party hats and noisemakers,” Deermer said.

New Year’s Eve at Noon will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is included with general admission.

Sci-Quest’s address is 1435 Paramount Drive in Huntsville. For more information, call 256-837-0606 or visit sci-quest.org.
