FHU AWARDS DEGREE TO LOCAL STUDENT

Molly Hester, Madison, received a Bachelor of Science in arts and humanities and elementary education from Freed-Hardeman University Friday, Dec. 12. The university awarded 80 baccalaureate degrees and 43 graduate degrees at its winter commencement exercises, held in Lloyd Auditorium. Hester was a summa cum laude graduate.
Freed-Hardeman University is a private, four-year university located in Henderson, Tenn. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to offer bachelor’s, master’s, Education Specialist and Doctor of Education degrees. FHU has been consistently listed in the top tier of U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Regional Universities—South” category.
