It’s almost time for the 6th annual Connect 2015, presented by Landers McLarty – Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat Subaru. The event, held at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Davidson Center on Jan. 30, will celebrate connections between the City of Madison, regional and local governments, area businesses, residents and those interested in investing and moving to the Madison area.

Per usual, Mayor Trulock will give an outlook on key issues for the coming year, as well as review key accomplishments from the past year.

Additionally, the event aims to raise awareness of the importance of education and its relationship to growing in a positive manner – personally, corporately, municipally, and regionally.

Connect 2015 will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. with the dinner and program beginning at 7 p.m. After the cocktail reception and dinner, there will be a gathering with live music and socializing. Special guest Abby Wright will perform the national anthem along with Bob Jones & James Clemens presenting the nation’s colors.

Dr. Tommy Gray, senior associate pastor for Asbury United Methodist Church, will be leading the invocation, and Matthew and Whitney Trulock will be leading the pledge. Jerry Hayes will be the emcee for the evening.

Sponsors include: Madison Hospital, Cadence Bank, County Commission Chairman Dale Strong, Intergraph, Ability Plus, Colsa Corporation, STI Electronics, Focus Radio, WTKI/WEKI, Redstone Federal Credit Union, SEL & Associates, First Commercial Bank, Port of Huntsville, Progress Bank, Fantastic Plastics, Boeing, 4Site, Inc., Minuteman Press, Aero Jet, Wyle, Northrop Grumman, Aegis Technologies, Republic Services and Iheart Media.
