ARDMORE – Patrons now can sign up for the annual summer reading program at Ardmore Public Library.

The 2015 theme is “Every Hero Has a Story.” This program for children younger than 12 years old will be conducted on June 17 and 24, along with July 1 and 8. Sessions start at 10 a.m.

“The program for teens who are 12 years old and older will be on July 1 from 1 to 3 p.m.,” librarian Verlin Collins said. “This free summer program has been a tradition for the library for over 30 years.

The summer program “is a way for the library to give back to the community by helping the area children keep up their reading interest during the summer months,” Collins said.

To register a child for the program, call the library at 931-427-4883. For more information, email to ardmorelib@ardmore.net.
