MADISON – The finale for the 2015 Madison Gazebo Concerts on July 30 will feature rock and blues by Divide by Zero.

The concert will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the gazebo on Front Street in downtown Madison.

Members of Divide by Zero are Jeff Engbrecht, Bob Youmans, Mark Dorner, Drew McDowell and Scott Glennon. Band members like an energetic audience and hope everyone will be up and dancing on the Village Green.

Divide by Zero’s playlist will rock with hits like Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive,” The Eagles’ “Hotel California,” Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Call Me the Breeze” and “Sweet Home Alabama,” Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music” and Tracy Chapman’s “Gimme One Reason.”

In addition to gazebo concerts, Madison Arts Council (MAC) sponsors the Art 4 Paws festival that combines a pet expo with the fine arts. Members collaborate to place designs on the SPACES Sculpture Trail. In late November through December, the Christmas Card Lane exhibit has artist-designed, large cards placed at downtown homes and businesses.

MAC also presents grants to non-profit organizations and educators who influence young people in appreciating the arts.

Laura Pope coordinated the 2015 entertainment roster for Madison Gazebo Concerts. Current MAC officers are president Beth Ridgeway, vice president Tina Clark and treasurer Heather Alvarado.

MAC meets monthly on the first Tuesday at 6 p.m. at 347 Hughes Road. Prospective members are welcome to attend a meeting.

For more information about MAC, email to info@artsmadison.org or visit artsmadison.org.
