MADISON – A national survey by Niche has rated Madison City Schools at sixth place in the “Best School Districts in Alabama.”

“Madison City Schools once again ranked near tops in a ‘best schools’ index of Alabama public school districts,” public relations manager John Peck said. “Every school in the Madison system received an A or A+ in individual evaluations.”

Birmingham suburbs captured four of the top five places with Homewood, Mountain Brook and Hoover and Vestavia Hills taking honors. Auburn City Schools ranked fourth. Rounding out Alabama’s Top 10 were Trussville, Hartselle, Cullman, and Muscle Shoals.

Carnegie Mellon University students founded Niche in 2002. For more information, visit niche.com.
