MADISON – Insanity Complex will transform into a ghoulish locale for “Madison’s Insane Nightmare On Skate Street” on Halloween night, Oct. 31.

The City of Madison is partnering with Insanity Complex, 100 Skate Park Drive for this second annual event, which is targeted for the entire family and all ages to enjoy from 5 to 10 p.m.

On Halloween night, special offers will be available at all the complex’s venues. Winners in numerous contests and games will receive prizes.

General admission will be $10 for the main building. The public can attend outdoors Halloween activities free. However, Graveyard Golf will cost $3 for 18 holes; Bat Caves, $1 for 15 throws; and Skateboard Park, $5 for all-day skate including pads.

From 5 to 8 p.m., youngsters can trick or treat for candy and treats at decorated vehicles and tables in designated locations. Individuals are encouraged to decorate their vehicles’ ‘spooktacular’ trunks or booths to hand out candy and business cards.

Vendors can register for free for a booth or table at the event. Table and booth locations will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Setup will start at 4 p.m., and tables must be fully operational by 5:30 p.m.

Volunteers will judge games and contests. Judge spaces are limited to contests for best costume, ‘pumpkin chunk’ and best decorated pumpkin or jack-o-lantern.

People in costume cannot carry items that resemble weapons or objects that are made of wood, metal, cardboard or hard plastic. A parent must accompany a child younger than 16 years old.

Police officers and private security will be onsite during the event.
