MADISON – Dr. Amanda Lockhart Holland, age 47, of Madison passed away Oct. 5 in Madison Hospital.

Born Aug. 14, 1968 in Guin, she was a 1993 graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Ga. and opened her own medical practice, Aligned Chiropractic and Decompression Center, in Madison in 2011. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Holland; three sons, Garrett Michael Holland, Andrew Lloyd Holland and Grant William Holland, all of Madison; mother, Amelia Ray Lockhart of Guin; father, Roy W. Lockhart of Fayette; two sisters, Tina Lockhart (Wesley Creel) of Morris and April Burnett (Yancey) of Tuscaloosa; an aunt, Brenda Paulette Ray Lucas (Thomas) of Hamilton; cousins, David Lucas, Harley Lucas, Tarrah Lucas Dudley, Ben Dudley, Collin Purser, Haley Purser and Sara Beth Dudley and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. from the chapel with burial in the Carter Cemetery. Rev. Ted Amey and Rev. Jason Clifton will officiate.

Norwood Funeral Homes Inc. of Guin is directing the funeral.
