Police foundation hosts Halloween Bash

MADISON – Madison Police Foundation is starting a new ‘terrifying’ tradition with its first annual Halloween Bash on Oct. 30.

This Halloween party will be held at Insanity Complex on Hughes Road in Madison. Event hours will be 7 to 11 p.m.

Entertainment by the band Groove will keep the goblins and ghosts jumping at the bash. Partygoers can enter a costume contest for the best Halloween getup and gimmicks.

Tickets are $50 per person. All tickets will be sold in advance, and guests must have tickets to enter the event. A donation of $50 will send a Madison police officer and a guest to the event, spokesperson Jennifer Schwartz said.

The foundation’s Halloween Bash also will offer chances at prizes in raffles and games. Guests will enjoy munching on complimentary hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be open for potent potables.

Partygoers must be 21 years old or older to attend.

For a sponsorship at $500, the guests will receive a table for eight and the opportunity to post advertising signage at the event. Party organizers also welcome sponsors to decorate their table to win a prize for best Halloween setup.

The Madison Police Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, is supported by the community to promote business and citizen participation in maintaining a safe community. As a link between the police and the public they serve, the foundation provides support beyond the realm of traditional resources allocated within the city’s budget.
