Blue Pants hosts Pinstripe Fest

MADISON – Blue Pants Brewery will host its fourth annual Pinstripe Fest on Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.

Owner Michael Spratley promises the biggest fest ever with “a celebration of all things stout at the taproom. We’re expecting a gigantic turnout and are offering some really awesome stuff this year.”

A whole-hog roast will be one crowd pleaser. The local hog from Fudge Farms in Madison has “been fed on spent grain from our beers for the last six weeks,” Spratley said.

Pinstripe Fest will feature numerous variations of Blue Pants’ export stout, including Brown Sugar, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Chai, Dark and Stormy, Dry Hop, Banana Pepper, Samoa, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Andes Mint, Pecan Pie, Coffee Milk and Lite.

In addition, Blue Pants recently launched its whiskey and bourbon in the taproom, so the Pinstripe Fest was used to refill these barrels for a truly unique pinstripe that was aged in Blue Pants’ own distilling barrels. “We’re really excited about the festival,” Michael said. “We look forward to it every year as a way to celebrate the year.”

Local entertainers Falcon Punch will perform at the fest.

 

Blue Pants is selling tickets to the festival online at https://bpb.ticketbud.com/pinstripe-fest-2015. Guests can enjoy unlimited samples and a souvenir festival glass for a ticket at $25.

“For a more modest offering this year, a $10 punch card will provide for four samples. The first punch is applied towards the souvenir glass. Additional punch cards will also be available to buy at the fest,” Spratley said.

Guests will be admitted free “but the only beer available is the samples via the unlimited ticket or the punch cards,” he said. Concession food also will be sold.
