Schools, city hall close early

MADISON – Due to impending weather conditions, Madison City Schools will dismiss early on Friday, Jan. 22.

Discovery and Liberty middle schools and Bob Jones and James Clemens high schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. All elementary schools will dismiss at 12:15 p.m.

For pre-kindergarten students in Madison, Mill Creek Elementary School’s pre-K students will dismiss at 11 a.m. Madison City Schools First Class Pre-Kindergarten Center (by Rainbow Elementary School) will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.

Madison County Schools will be dismissed on Jan. 22 at 11:30 a.m. Madison Academy will close at 11 a.m.

Due to the anticipated winter weather, Madison City Hall will close at noon on Jan. 22.

Madison County faces a winter weather advisory at 3 p.m., as issued by the National Weather Service in Huntsville.
