Dickey arrested for car burglaries

MADISON – Madison Police Department has arrested Christopher Wayne Dickey on charges of car burglaries.

On March 30, Madison officers arrested Dickey, 32, who is a Madison County resident. Dickey faces these charges:

* Seven counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle.

* Two counts of theft of property, 2nd degree.

* One count of theft of property, 3rd degree.

Dickey was placed in the Madison County Jail with a $23,500 bond.

Madison Police Department issued a thank-you to local businesses and homeowners for providing timely video footage that aided in Dickey’s arrest. The police department stated that this arrest would not have been possible without the partnership between Madison Police Department and the community it serves.

“We also recognize the efforts and diligence of our patrol officers who were instrumental in identifying the suspect,” a department spokesman said.
