Athlete of the Week

MADISON – Softball has played an important component in Caroline Payne’s high school career.

Payne, a senior, has played the position of shortstop for the softball team at James Clemens High School. Payne’s field stats and playing record earned her a scholarship to Shelton State Community College.

She also has participated in the Jets Cheer Squad at James Clemens. “We did a lot of volunteer work for cheer and for softball over the years. We have volunteered at the Miracle League,” Payne said.
