MADISON – The girls’ basketball program at James Clemens High School is offering free camps this summer.

The free camps are open to any female student who will enter grades 3-6 at Heritage, Mill Creek, Columbia and Madison elementary schools in August. These elementary schools ‘feed’ to James Clemens enrollment.

“We’re attempting to build connections with our future players,” Amber Deline said. Deline coaches varsity girls’ basketball at James Clemens.

The camps will meet once each week from 6 to 7 p.m. in James Clemens gym. Dates will be May 31 and June 6, 13, 20 27.

“We encourage any female student that has an interest in basketball to attend any or all of the camps,” Deline said. “Prior basketball experience is not required. We want to build connections with our future Jets.”
