Specialist Enderton served in Army Reserves

MADISON – Specialist Angie Enderton served in the U.S. Army Reserve for eight years.

“I began my service in 1998 with the Army Reserves,” Enderton said. She went to Fort Jackson, S.C. Then, Enderton served at Fort Gordon, Ga. for Signal Corps Advanced Individual Training.

“I served in reserve units in Hawaii and California,” she said. In Honolulu, Hawaii, Enderton attended Kapiolani Community College and Hawaii Pacific University. She also completed studies with University of Phoenix.

She is married to Lieutenant Colonel Chris Enderton, who has served in the U.S. Army for 18 years. He is currently on his second tour at Redstone Arsenal. He works as Product Director, Non-Standard Rotary Wing Project Office within the Program Executive Office Aviation (PEO Aviation).

“I’m a stay-at-home mom and very involved in the schools,” she said. Angie Enderton has served as PTA President for three years at West Madison Elementary School.

In recent years, Enderton led the PTA in successfully meetings its $26,000 annual fundraising goal. “For the smallest school in Madison City Schools to raise and meet our goal of $26,000 is awesome,” Enderton said. “We’re grateful and thankful for everyone who was involved.”

In addition, Enderton is instrumental in organizing the West Madison Spring Carnival to raise funds for the school. “West Madison PTA strives to raise money for the betterment of our entire school,’ she said.

“We first moved to Madison in 2005 when Chris had his first tour here at Redstone Arsenal,” she said.

Their son Kai, who is nine years old, is a student at West Madison. Their daughter Moana is five years old.

“We like to spend time and do things as a family, especially hockey. We are passionate Huntsville Havoc fans. Also, we love to travel,” Enderton said.
