Lois Winkles June 5, 1938 – June 4 2016

Mrs. Lois Jean Winkles, age 77 of Madison, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 4, 2016 at a local hospital after a long illness. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Emmett Cecil Winkles, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Winkles.
She is survived by her three children, Randy Winkles, Vickie Gray, and spouse Michael, and Steve Winkles; brother, Preston Stanley, eight loving grandchildren, Jeannie Williams, Melodie Beaver, Shawna Winkles, Patrick Gray, Clinton Winkles, Odessa Winkles, Nickalus Gray, and Faith Winkles; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was loved and will be missed by a host of family and friends. Special friends included Cynthia Thompson and Moody Brazier.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family received friends Monday, June 6, 2016 from 11:00 until 12 noon. A service followed in Spry’s Chapel. Interment was held at Maple Hill Cemetery.
