Evelyn G. Jameson January 30, 1928 – September 4, 2016

Evelyn G. Jameson was a resident of Morningside assisted living in Madison, AL.   She was the daughter of Robert N. Griggs and Ruby Cunningman Griggs of Nashville, TN. Evelyn was a lifelong member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Nashville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Jameson, children, Kenneth R. Young, Marquita Jane Young and Marcia Scherer Young, and granddaughter, Kasi Scherer Young.

She is survived by son Richard N. Young of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, James R. Young, Tracy Young Hochberg, and Samuel Ray Tyler Young; and great-grandchildren, Max Aaron and Madeline Rose Hochberg.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 7 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL. A graveside service followed Thursday, September 8th at 11am at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN, with Pastor Jack Galloway of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
