Wroblewski, Seifert win runoff for council

MADISON – City of Madison has released unofficial results of the Madison Municipal Runoff Election for Council Districts 1 and 7 held on Oct. 4.
For District 1, Maura Wroblewski received 319 votes (51.8 percent), while James Ross tallied 297 votes (48.2 percent).
For District 7, John Seifert received 516 votes (66.2 percent), while Lena Sledge tallied 264 votes (33.8 percent).
Madison City Council will canvass these results on Oct. 11 at noon in Council Chambers at City Hall, 100 Hughes Road.
