One robbery suspect arrested, one flees

MADISON – Madison police officers have arrested one person for ‘robbery to an individual’ and are seeking information on the second suspect who is on the lam.
On Jan. 10 at 3 p.m., Madison police officers responded to an armed robbery of an individual in the parking lot of 8066 Madison Blvd. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim knew the offenders. No gunshots were fired.
The offenders fled in a vehicle and were stopped minutes later by Madison police. One individual was captured, and the other fled on foot.
Madison police arrested 20-year-old Michael Sanchez Jefferson of Huntsville for “Robbery, 1st” and “Receiving Stolen Property, 1st.”
The police are seeking information on the whereabouts of 22-year-old Jaqorious Rodnetrick James of Huntsville. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 275 pounds. He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
