NORMAL – Loomis Brothers Circus, billed as “Alabama’s Favorite Circus,” will bring the beauty, laughter and excitement of its 2017 “FUNtasticTour” to Alabama A&M University on Feb. 2.
Performances will be presented at A&M’s Agribition Center. Show times will be at 4:30 and 7 p.m.
The performance marks the first time ever for Loomis Brothers Circus to perform in the Huntsville community.
“Come be inspired by a spectacular cast of some of the world’s finest circus stars in a three-ring extravaganza you and your family will not want to miss,” Justin Loomis said. Loomis works as circus producer and ringmaster.
“Witness the hair-raising excitement of the treacherous ‘Motorcycle Globe of Death,’ our majestic herd of Asian and African elephants and high-flying acrobats on the electrifying ‘Russian Swing,'” Loomis said. The circus will feature majestic white Siberian and Royal Bengal tigers, a live circus band and much more in an all new 90-minute, family-friendly “FUNtastic” performance.
“This year, we have several very special experiences you won’t find anywhere else,” Loomis said. “The first is an all-new Wild West pre-show featuring Goode and Braggart performing dangerous feats with bullwhips, lassos, axes and knives.”
“In addition, from New York’s legendary Big Apple Circus, we are pleased to present J.K. Kane, appearing as the hilarious ‘Egg-Roll the Clown,'” he said. “Finally, we take pride that we can continue presenting exotic animals in our show, and we are the only circus in Alabama where you can see elephants.”
Full-priced admission is $20 for adults and $8 for children who are 2 to 12 years old. To buy tickets in advance online by credit or debit card, visit loomiscircus.com. Guests also can buy tickets with cash only at the circus box office on the day of show.
Seating is general admission. Doors open one hour before each scheduled show time.
Patrons are encouraged to arrive early for best seating. Optional pre-show activities begin when doors open, and the pre-show performance begins approximately 20 minutes before each scheduled show time.

Loomis Brothers Circus began as a childhood dream for Justin Loomis and has now grown to be one of America’s best and most beautiful circuses. The show travels throughout the country, concentrating on the Southern and Central United States. 2017 marks their 20th year of presenting the magic that is circus.
