MADISON – The City of Madison and Madison Utilities have coordinated upgrades to the water and sewer infrastructure along Hughes Road.
Crews started work on Jan. 18 to improve lines on Hughes Road between Gooch Lane to the north and Eastview Drive to the south. Construction activity along this portion of roadway will be ongoing through April.
The work will not require closing the roadway but may require intermittent lane closures. City officials urged motorists to drive with extreme caution in this area, and pay special attention to road crews, signage and roadway conditions.
