Baseball and golf are McCrory’s games

MADISON – Hill McCrory, a member of the Class of 2017 at James Clemens High School, has a love for both baseball and golf.

Both of these sports to McCrory “are humbling. Also in baseball, you create a brotherhood that lasts a lifetime.”

For James Clemens baseball, he played the positions of pitcher and designated hitter. “I was number 1 on the golf team,” McCrory said.

He signed a golf scholarship to attend Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Ark.

McCrory was enrolled in James Clemens High School Medical Academy. In this course of study, he and his peers completed courses to become health professionals, pursue post-secondary education in healthcare and careers in biomedical research and development.

Hill’s sister Ansley McCrory is a college student. His parents are Mark and Lori McCrory, and they both work as educators. “I moved here in the eighth grade, and we came to Madison because of my dad’s work,” Hill said.
