Bailey Tatum enjoys out-of-town softball trips

MADISON – Bailey Tatum plays softball for the Patriots at Bob Jones High School and for the Tennessee Fury 2021 team.

Bailey plays the positions of shortstop, second base and pitcher. “Softball is fun, and I get to travel a lot,” she said. She is a freshman at Bob Jones.

Her brother Jonathan is in eighth grade at Discovery Middle School. Their parents are Daniel and Denise Tatum. Daniel owns a commercial landscape company. Denise works as a registered nurse at the Surgery Center of Huntsville.

Bailey and her family moved to Madison in 1999. Daniel and Denise’s jobs attracted them to this community.

Q: What are your favorite restaurants in Madison?

A: Bailey likes to go out to eat at Chick-fil-A and BJ’s restaurant.

Q: What’s your favorite food?

A: Chicken.

Q: What are your favorite sports teams?

A: Bailey’s favorite team is the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.

Q: What is your favorite sports memory?

A: Bailey will always remember playing softball in California in the summer of 2016.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: “I like to watch TV and hang out with friends,” Bailey said.
