“Small businesses are a critical and vibrant segment of the U.S. economy. Despite the challenges they face, small business owners never stop innovating, taking risks, working hard and dreaming big,” U.S. Chamber President/CEO Thomas J. Donohue said.

“These finalists and their small businesses strengthen their communities and local economies. The U.S. chamber is proud to honor these outstanding companies, which together represent what is possible in our free enterprise system. They are a reminder that there is nothing small about small business,” Donohue said.

This year, a record number of applicants pursued the chance for the “Dream Big Small Business of the Year” Award.

Chamber officials will announce the award winners at the Dream Big Awards Celebration on Sept. 12 in Washington, D.C. This event will be part of the 2017 Small Business Summit held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors and regions, along with state and local chambers and industry associations.
