Old Black Bear to host Pints for Paws for MARF

MADISON – Old Black Bear Brewery at 212 Main St. in Madison will host Pints 4 Paws, a party fundraiser for Madison Animal Rescue Foundation.

This fun event on Aug. 19 will run from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature a barbecue dinner with slaw, baked beans, potato salad, tropical fruit and cake. For guests with a ticket, unlimited beer samples will be served — until these run out.

Calypso Vision will be featured entertainment for dancing throughout the evening.

In addition, guests can bid in a silent auction. A few of the auction items are a Daniel Moore print of the 2014 Iron Bowl with certificate of authenticity, a whimsical dog house, whimsical bear clock donated by Animal Trax, $100 gift basket donated by Goin to the Dogs & Cats and a Woostock Wind Chime donated by Valley Pools.

Advance tickets are $25. Tickets at the event are $30. Tickets are available online at madisonarf.org or at Petco in Madison on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
