City wants input of traffic signals
MADISON – Currently, the City of Madison is working to adjust the timing of traffic signals around town. Officials want to relieve congestion as much as possible with changes in the timing.
“We are aware of problems on all County Line Road signals and will be changing the timing soon,” Director of Engineering Gary Chynoweth said. “We have made adjustments on Wall Triana and Old Madison Pike already.”
“The morning traffic will be more difficult to improve because of the different school zones and the different locations where crossing guards direct traffic,” he said.
If an issue exists with a traffic signal, please notify the City of Madison Engineering Department by calling 256-772-5639 or email gary.chynoweth@madisonal.gov.
