Madison rates in top ten for ACT scores

MADISON – Students at Madison’s two high schools have achieved ACT scores among the top ten schools in Alabama.

The top ten includes these schools with their average ACT score:

* Loveless Academic Magnet Program High School, Montgomery County Schools, 31

* Mountain Brook High School, Mountain Brook City Schools, 27

* Vestavia Hills High School, Vestavia Hills City Schools, 26

* At no. 4, Bob Jones High School, Madison City Schools, 24

* Huntsville High School, Huntsville City Schools, 24

* Arab High School, Arab City Schools, 23

* Booker T. Washington Magnet High School, Montgomery County Schools, 23

* Hewitt-Trussville High School, Trussville City Schools, 23

* At no. 9, James Clemens High School, Madison City Schools, 23

* Oak Mountain High School, Shelby County Schools, 23
