Lockheed Martin recognizes AMT Integrated Solutions

MADISON – AMT Integrated Solutions of Madison is among 32 small business suppliers that Lockheed Martin has recognized for extraordinary work in supporting one of its business divisions.

Lockheed Martin selected AMT Integrated Solutions from thousands of small businesses across the United States. The Madison company made significant contributions to Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control business area’s products and services.

For more than 20 years, Lockheed Martin has annually celebrated small business suppliers providing quality goods, superior services and outstanding support.

“Lockheed Martin is fortunate to have incredible small business partners that help us produce superior defense systems and advanced technologies to support the warfighter,” John Varley said. Varley is vice president of global supply chain at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

“We rely on these companies every day and are glad to recognize their commitment to quality and accountability to help our industry team deliver innovative solutions to our customers,” Varley said.

In this recognition, Lockheed Martin selected companies based on a number of factors. AMT Integrated Solutions consistently delivered reliable parts, products and services on time that meet contractual requirements at competitive prices. Other factors were ease of working as the supplier, alignment of the supplier’s values with Lockheed Martin’s and the supplier’s ability to solve problems.

For 2016, AMT Integrated Solutions was the only small business in Alabama that Lockheed Martin recognized.

This year, the U.S. Small Business Administration recognized Lockheed Martin for excellence with the Dwight D. Eisenhower Award, a prestigious honor for large prime contractors that work with small businesses.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 97,000 people worldwide.

Shannon Folgmann is CEO/Owner and Martin Folgmann is President/Co-Owner/Founder of AMT Integrated Solutions. AMT is a woman-owned small business specializing in hardware integration and support manufacturing services.

Established in the early 1980s, AMT Integrated Solutions supports a dynamic business base of automotive, communications and defense industries with diverse services, including on-site precision manufacturing capability, according to its website (acctool.net).
