Bickleman pitched no-hitter against Jets

MADISON – Brendan Bickleman plays baseball on the varsity team at Bob Jones High School, along with the summer team for the East Coast Sox. He handles the positions of pitcher and outfield.

“I have played baseball since I was three years old. It has always been my best sport so I stuck with it,” Brendan said.

He is a senior at Bob Jones and participates in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Brendan’s siblings are Kellen Mashburn, an eighth-grader at Discovery Middle School, and Chase Faircloth, a sophomore at Georgia Highlands College. “My parents are Chad and Stephanie Mashburn. My father Rodney Bickleman works in management for Kroger,” Brendan said.

Brendan’s family moved to Madison in August 2011. “My mom’s work brought us to Madison,” he said.
