Basketball always first passion for Fiddler

MADISON – Basketball always has been Chase Fiddler’s first love … ever since he could hold a ball.

“I have dreamed of playing collegiately and hopefully professionally,” Fiddler said. “I play basketball for Bob Jones High School and high jump for the school, as well. I play anywhere from shooting guard to center when my coach needs me to.”

His parents are Craig and Betsy Fiddler, who own the Smoothie King stores in Madison and Huntsville.

Chase has two siblings. Sydney Fiddler is a junior at the University of Alabama, after playing softball and graduating from Bob Jones. His sibling “Chelsea Fiddler was my first role model. She was always very headstrong and confident. That’s where I get all my confidence on the court,” Chase Fiddler said.

“When I was five years old, my father retired from the military after 23 years. His next job put us in Madison as he worked for an automotive college,” Chase said.
