Knights of Columbus to sponsor blood drive on Feb. 17

MADISON – Knights of Columbus, Assembly 2420 will sponsor a blood drive for American Red Cross at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1057 Hughes Road in Madison on Feb. 17.

The drive will open at 9 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. in the church basement.

“The need for blood in Alabama and the nation is constant, and especially so in the wakes of the hurricanes and Las Vegas massacre,” blood drive coordinator John W. Horch said. “Your participation is greatly appreciated by the Red Cross and St. John’s Knights of Columbus but, most of all, by those who need blood because of accident or illness.”

“Please take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and give the gift of life,” Horch said.

For an appointment, visit redcrossblood.org, type “35758,” select the St. John blood drive and choose an appointment time. For more information, call the church office at 256-722-0130 or Horch at 256-772-3280.
