E-4 Earl Watts deployed with 467th Engineer Battalion

MADISON – A native of Daleville, Earl Watts entered the U.S. Army Reserves in June 2001.

Watts completed Basic Training at Fort Benning, Ga. “I was a part of a reserve unit on Fort Rucker. I deployed with the 467th Engineer Battalion as a 12B (Combat Engineer) and conducted route clearance patrols,” he said. His rank was E-4.

At Troy University, Watts earned a bachelor’s degree in social science. “I moved to Madison on Feb. 1, 2015. My wife Wendy wanted to relocate,” he said.

His wife Wendy Watts works for CGI. He works as a component sales representative for G2 Sales. Earl and Wendy have an 11-year-old daughter, Abbygail, who is a student at Columbia Elementary School.

Earl Watts is a member of American Legion, Post 229 in Madison. He holds the office of 2nd Vice President.

“I enjoy many things, but most of all I enjoy spending time with friends and family. We usually play board games and hang out by the pool,” he said. “I enjoy Ultimate Fighting Championship fights, football and shooting guns. GO DAWGS!”
