Auburn’s Class of 2018 included 142 students receiving pharmacy degrees. Dr. Dell Barker Walker, a member of the Class of 1985, delivered the commencement address. Paul Paratore gave the student address. Auburn University President Dr. Steven Leath congratulated the graduates.

The class included representatives from seven foreign countries, including China, Egypt, India, Korea, Libya, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. Samlowski has accepted a full-time pharmacist position with Walgreens.

Educators and students in the Harrison School of Pharmacy host a summer pharmacy camp for youth on campus at Auburn. Students learn about numerous facets of the field, including compounding, sterile compounding, vital signs, medical devices and the various roles of a pharmacist.

Auburn offers doctoral degrees in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, along with a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
